The Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT) Narathiwat Office is set to stage the 6th Southern Thailand Tourism Fair from 31 March – 2 April, 2017 at the Indoor Stadium Hua Mark, Bangkok.
The event is aimed at boosting tourism in the three southernmost provinces of Thailand including Narathiwat, Yala and Pattani, by introducing the many tourist attractions including cultural and historical sites. Neighbouring provinces such as Satun and Songkhla will also be joining the event, highlighting interesting attractions such as Lipe, Tarutao, Samila cape, among others.
After getting to know more of the many interesting attractions in the southernmost provinces of Thailand, visitors can also shop for special tour packages and enjoy cultural performances including a Hulu likay dance, demonstrations of the martial art Silat, Malaya dances, and a reenactment of a Pengantin wedding ceremony.
The Fair will also feature special talks on “Muslim tourism and the Opportunities of Thailand” and photo exhibitions. Last but not least, visitors can shop for local products and sample some southern dishes.
